TAIPEI, TAIWAN — JUNE 7, 2026 — Vellex Computing returned from InnoVEX 2026 in Taipei with two awards, capping a strong week at the heart of Taiwan's semiconductor ecosystem.
At the IC Taiwan Grand Challenge Award Ceremony & Unveil on June 2, Vellex officially received its prize as one of 11 winners selected from 590 proposals across 56 countries. The Vellex team took the main stage to present its vision for ultra-low-power AI training and accept the recognition from the National Science and Technology Council (NSTC).
Two days later, Vellex competed in the InnoVEX 2026 Pitch Contest as one of 15 finalists selected from over 180 applicants across 22 countries — and one of only two semiconductor companies to reach the final round. Vellex won the Plug and Play Taiwan Award, the sole recipient of that prize among the finalists, who spanned software, medical technology, and materials fields.
Vellex's technology delivers AI training orders of magnitude faster and at a fraction of the energy cost of conventional digital approaches, enabling always-on intelligence for applications in robotics, satellite systems, and industrial IoT without reliance on the cloud.
