ABOUT US
To make on-device AI training practical at the edge, delivering continuous learning at milliwatt power so that devices adapt, improve, and optimize at the source of data.
We envision a world where intelligence isn't fixed at the point of deployment. It grows with experience, adapts to its environment, and improves with every hour of operation. A satellite, a robot, or a drone running for six months becomes meaningfully better at its job than the day it shipped. Not because someone retrained it in the cloud, but because it learned on its own, on milliwatts, at the edge.
Palak is CEO and Co-Founder of Vellex Computing, working at the intersection of high-performance computing and AI. She has held research positions at GE Global Research Center, Xilinx Research Labs, and UC Berkeley, and is a Cyclotron Road and Activate Fellow at Lawrence Berkeley National Lab. She holds a Ph.D. from the National University of Singapore.
Jason is Product Engineer and Co-Founder of Vellex Computing and Assistant Professor in Electrical Engineering at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. He earned his Ph.D. and M.S. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences from UC Berkeley, and was previously a postdoctoral researcher at Stanford University and affiliate researcher at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory.

We live by first principles
We start with the fundamental laws of physics and reason upward. We believe the most complex challenges become solvable when you break them down to their core truths.
Share and Support
Great work happens in the open. We collaborate across disciplines, celebrate each other's progress, and show up for one another through the hard parts.
Adapt and Excel
We move quickly and course-correct often. Mistakes are part of the process. What matters is learning from them and coming back sharper.
Backed by leading institutions in science, computing, and deep tech.

We're looking for physicists, engineers, and builders who think from first principles and want to help bring adaptive intelligence to the edge.
