Vellex Computing Co-Founder Named 2024-2026 Mária Telkes Fellow

SAN FRANCISCO, CA — NOVEMBER 14, 2024 — Dr. Palak Jain, CEO and co-founder of Vellex Computing, has been selected as one of seven fellows in the 2024-2026 Mária Telkes Fellowship cohort. The fellowship is jointly administered by the Cleantech Leaders Roundtable (CTLR) and the Clean Energy Business Network (CEBN), and the 2024-2026 cohort is its third since the program was founded in 2021.

The Mária Telkes Fellowship is intended to help promising cleantech professionals from underrepresented demographics tap into networking connections, positive exposure, and champion-building opportunities to realize their full potential for executive leadership. The fellowship is named in honor of Mária Telkes (December 12, 1900 – December 2, 1995), a Hungarian-American scientist considered one of the founders of solar thermal storage systems, who earned the nickname "the Sun Queen."

"As a Mária Telkes Fellow, I'm excited to be part of this incredible community and look forward to leveraging the fellowship's opportunities to accelerate the growth of our technology and deliver impactful solutions to our customers," said Dr. Jain.
